Introducing 820 Biscayne Zone on Carnival Celebration
May 2022 | By Carnival Cruise Line | 3 minute read
You know, it’s hard work making effortlessly fun vacations. That’s why Carnival is looking forward to kicking back with you on their newest ship, Carnival Celebration, coming to Miami, Florida this November! So, please, bring that unique Carnival spirit… and know that this ship will bring the fun.
Just like its sister ship, Mardi Gras™, Carnival Celebration has six Zones — themed areas that bring together incredible experiences and flavor. And as the second ship ever with BOLT™ — its onboard rollercoaster — they’ll make sure it’s every bit as speedy and thrilling. Carnival Celebration also marks the return of innovations like Bonsai Teppanyaki™, RedFrog® Tiki Bar, Family Feud™ Live, Havana Bar™, Seuss at Sea™, Playlist Productions™, and more. That ought to be enough fun for anybody — all powered by clean LNG fuel — but there’s so much more!
Carnival Celebration will have a new Miami-themed Zone — 820 Biscayne! This new zone, named after the address of Carnival’s original headquarters, celebrates and invites guests to experience all the culture, architectural styles, and flavors of Miami, and the homeport where Carnival began sailing 50 years ago.
Throughout this zone, you will experience a unique take on Miami, combining elements from its past with its present. From beautiful artwork to fun photo opportunities like posing with flamingoes on skateboards, guests will feel like they’re truly walking around the ‘305.’
820 Biscayne Features Miamian Food and Beverage Offerings
Located on Deck 8, in the same place as La Piazza on the sister ship, Mardi Gras, 820 Biscayne will feature a similar layout and venues. But with influences and design elements that reflect the urban-meets-laid back vibes of Miami, it’s the perfect to relax and people watch or enjoy the fresh sea air and ocean views.
This half inside, half outside retro-inspired bar will feature a “vintage cool” design with grab-and-go Cuban and specialty coffees for early risers on their way outside for some morning sunshine, as well as Miami-inspired tropical frozen drinks and creative martinis day and night.
Designed as a nod to Miami’s Art Deco mecca with colorful fonts and signage, the space will serve more than classic deli sandwiches with an expanded menu that also highlights Miami staples including the Cubano, a Croqueta sandwich, and pan con Lechon, all on Cuban bread.
Midnight snack anyone? At Miami Slice you can enjoy 24-hour pizza at this always-popular walk-up spot featuring authentic, fresh-from-the-oven, and hand-tossed slices of cheesy goodness amid a contemporary and vibrant décor reminiscent of the late-night eateries on Miami’s bustling Ocean Drive.
That’s not all, at 820 Biscayne, guests can also find their favorites like Rudi’s Seagrill, which was introduced on Mardi Gras, and Cucina del Capitano, which will be redesigned with a new look and feel that reflects the sleek and airy restaurants often found in Miami.
Stay tuned as additional details and zones on Carnival Celebration will be revealed in the coming months leading up to her inaugural sailing from Miami on November 21st.
