On Location in Hawaii
December 2015 | By Susan Milne | 5 minute read
Visit the delightful islands of Hawaii with personalized service and experiences. Our On Location partner, Worldstar, understands the islands and has the connections needed to create an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation. Read what Worldstar’s Managing Director, Shauna Hyswick, has to say about vacationing in Hawaii.
Q: What do you consider to be the highlights not to be missed in the Hawaiian Islands?
Each island is unique and has its own particular sights and attractions. However, a traditional Hawaiian luau can be done on any island and is a must for first time visitors. Other recommendations would be:
- For our culture and history lovers, visit Pearl Harbor in Oahu where our guide will share facts and information from a local perspective rather than a guide book.
- For adventure seekers, Maui is the ideal paradise. Here your clients can bike down a volcano or snorkel the Molokini crater.
- If being outdoors is what you love, Kauai offers numerous opportunities to explore nature and enjoy beautiful scenery. Make sure to visit Waimea Canyon and take a helicopter tour to admire the island at its best.
- If you are looking for something different and have been to Hawaii before, visit Hawaii Island. Its Volcanoes National Park, Mauna Kea Summit and Stars tour would take your breath away.
Q: What type of services do you offer and on which islands?
Our extensive product offerings include:
- Airport meet & greet transfers (shared and private).
- Wide portfolio of tours and excursions.
- Rental car services.

Yes, we cater to both markets and have experienced meeting and event planners working on our team.
Q: Can your tours be taken by cruise ship passengers?
Of course. We can arrange pier transportation as well.
Q: What special features are a part of the travel arrangements you make?
We offer a personalized touch to all our arrangements. Our staff takes pride in catering to the preferences of our clients in order to enhance their vacation experience. For example, we make recommendations, reservations and welcome calls the morning after they arrive to ensure everything is going well and let them know they have a friend in Hawaii.
Q: What tours are your personal favorites?
My personal favorite tours are:
- Mauna Kea Summit and Stars on Hawaii Island
Where else can you start the day on the beach and end up on the top of a snow capped volcano above the clouds where you can almost touch the stars?
- Zip lining on Kauai
What a rush to fly over the lush green canyons that are untouched and inaccessible by land.
- Horseback riding on Oahu
To ride into a lush tropical valley and learn about the legendary paniolo (cowboys of Hawaii).
- Snorkeling on Maui (Molokini Crater and Turtle town)
What an amazing spot to snorkel with the fishes. . . More exciting is to be in the water with the majestic sea turtles swimming around you!
Q: Tell us about the islands and the type of tours available on each.

We recommend: Helicopter, Mauna Kea Summit and Star, Twilight volcano tour, dinner cruise, snorkel cruise, snorkel with the manta rays, luau.
